Moon Cakes and Hot Potatoes

Fourth Grade students select their own slices of Moon Cake, the special treat of the annual Moon Cake Festival.

Moon Cake tastes a lot different than American cakes, but they are still tasty!

First graders play Hot Potato, a game that develops rapid recall of Mandarin Chinese vocabulary and confidence communicating in Chinese among friends and classmates.

Google Expeditions

Fifth graders at Washington Township had the opportunity to use Google Expeditions to "visit" the Great Wall of China and the Forbidden City. Some students were ready to travel to Beijing right away! Thank you to our technology team for making this amazing opportunity possible for 4th and 5th graders across the district!
