Chinese New Year and Friendship Groups
Wellman Elementary's K-5 Friendship Group celebrated Chinese New Year. They drew posters and learned about the 12 animals of the Chinese Zodiac (this is the Year of the Rooster).
Since Chinese New Year was celebrated in late January, students have kept busy learning the Chinese language - and the Chinese culture - in every classroom at all three schools.
